Inflate a small balloon for each child. They need to glue coloured paper to the outside of the balloon. There should be at least two complete layers with no gaps. Allow to dry by hanging the balloons up by the tied knot. If you want to draw decorations on your egg, do it before you remove the balloon. You could stick a layer of shiny paper on for a great glitzy finish. When dry, cut the knot of the balloon off, deflating it and remove the balloon, leaving a beautiful paper egg. You can tie a ribbon round it or leave as it is. You may want to fill the balloon with lots of little easter eggs for a special gift.

Cut a piece of card approx 15cm by 5cm. Cut a second piece of card perhaps in a different colour slightly smaller approx 14cm by 4cm. If you have some fancy edging scissors, use these to create a funky edge. Glue together. Put one hole punch near the bottom. Thread some ribbon(s) through and tie in a knot leaving the ribbons to dangle. Thread some beads on the hanging ribbon(s). Decorate your bookmark with whatever decorations you have, or write a special poem all about your Mum!
